Grief and Bereavement
Some people come for grief work when they have lost a loved one, while others come to heal grief associated with other losses such as the heart ache of a failed relationship, job loss or family estrangement. I use a person-centred, deeply compassionate approach to grief and bereavement, honouring the fact that your process is unique to you. Your grief journey is as individual as you are. When you find that the sadness is acutely painful or protracted, therapy can help. Using a non-directive style, I gently work with you to access and feel the feelings, unblock the grief process (particularly if prolonged or severe), encourage you to talk about your memories and finally help you to face the reality of the loss and how to move forward from a place of peace and renewed energy.
